Trash the Dress Sessions
The trash the dress trend is a newer non-traditional aspect to many weddings. The bride slips into her dress one more time and heads out to literally trash the dress. Methods vary from getting it wet, muddy, grass stained, or any other possibility you could think of.
The point of this tradition is a celebration. It is seen to symbolize different things to different brides. For some it is a way to put the wedding day in the past and forget about the stress and worry that went into it. For others destroying the dress is a way to remind herself to focus on the future happiness of the marriage instead of resting on the wedding day and viewing it as the peak of the marriage.
